World Space Week 

World Space Week being celebrated all over the world during 4th to 10th October every year to commemorate significant achievement of space exploration -As a part of world space week program, ISRO had joined hands with seven academic institution across Karnataka to spread information and knowledge about the benefits of space science and technologies to the students community -Tontadarya College of Engineering feel proud that we are among them and conducted one day program on October 5,2019 which consisted of various competitions for students, an exhibition of satellite models,posters,videos and talks depicting  the post, present and future of Indian Space Program.

Science Forum 

                    In order to provide opportunity to the students to complete and showcase their skills, the students association is formed in the department with the name "SCIENCE FORUM". It is a committee of the students formed by the students for the students. The association encourages the students to participate in different competitions like quiz, debate,poster making, model making ect and develop the  habit of constructive competition. 

Induction Program 

                    As per the guidelines of AICTE,three week Induction programme has been introduced for the first semester engineering students from the academic year 2018-19 under VTU. The purpose of student induction programme  is to help new students adjust and feel comfortable in the environment, inculate in them the ethics and culture of the institution help them build bands with other students and faculty members, and expose them to a sense of larger purpose and self exploration. The programme  includes physical activity,  creative arts, universal human values, literary activity, proficiency modules, personality development, event management and leadership qualities blend with lecture by eminent people and visit to the local areas. 

Quiz Competition 

            Tontadarya  College of Engineering has organised inter departmental quiz competition on 11th October 2018 at college premises. The objective of this competition is to encourage students to look beyond their textual knowledge and establish a relationship between theory and application of the learnt concepts. The competition was open for all the student which was blend of curriculum and general knowledge questions. the students enjoyed the quiz competition a lot a as they were able to enhance their knowledge through the questions asked . 

Fresher's Day 

                The main purpose of freshers day is to welcome newcomers in a friendly atmosphere to encourage their creative impulses to boost their confidence. We organize fresher's day celebration every year for the newly admitted first year engineering students which   accompany with so many colorful events and cultural activities like singing, dancing, fun games, etc filled with excitement, joy, enthusiasm laughter and happiness. These types of celebration help juniors to mingle with seniors and form blended coordination. The event create  many memories for the first year students and the senior alike with an array of cultural programs.
